Wow - this is absolutely unbelievable

Jen - for someone who could "care less" - you really have an odd way of showing it. Further, posting random icons on a web forum is far from unusual and is in fact the norm. I would think a post-whore such as yourself would know this by now.

And for a family who claims to care so much about it's members, that is truly BS because amongst all the previous drama regarding Mitch, this family that I was supposed to be part of - completely turned on me, very few of you bothered to maintain a friendship with me. Very few people in the Corner seem to be able to maintain impartial views and opinions.

Brant, you know very well that you are the least qualified here to be making "fair" opinions and that's all I'm going to say about that.

So Jen - do us all a favour...focus on your current flavour of the week and let the Corner go back to it's usual nonsense and enjoyable banter rather than this sort of negativity. Life is too short, you should know that, you've lost a loved one recently....far too much energy in this world is spend on being angry and negative. Life is a gift, don't waste it.

Peace

Lesley

People keep alluding to my aparent inability to call a situation as I see it and somehow be able to see through this thick fog of my emotions and make rational decisions. While I freely admitted a number of things yesterday, the one thing I will NOT concede is that I cannot develop fair opinions. If I were so blinded or biased, I would hate both you and Mitch...yet neither of those things has happened. It was YOU that told ME to pound sand because you took what others told you as if they were words out of my mouth, not the other way around.

I'm not trying to say that I wasn't emotionally entangled in the conflict, but that entanglement never once kept me from making rational decisions...either as a moderator or a friend.

We're all entitled to our opinions - as my Dad always told me when we didn't see eye to eye.

And, for the record, I miss our friendship, but I always knew that my actions would have consequences and I had to take the chance that our bond was strong enough to weather the storm. Jury's still out on whether that will happen or not, but I'm still hopeful...
