We need to decide on a hotel!

ps. I'm so annoyed, double checked flights today...how come it only takes 2-3 hours to get there, but a minimum of 8.5 to go home???
Time zones? It's a 4.5 hour flight each way, give or take.

As for hotels, I've always liked the idea of getting a suite with a couple adjoining rooms, but it requires a few people to chip in. Gives us central for pre/post funking.

Unfortunately if we limit ourselves to the "central strip" area that gets to be a bit prohibitive, unless someone has a gambling problem I don't know about.

I'll be at Homecoming as well (but I'll be flying)

For Vegas, it would be a last minute decision, as I only started a new job in Feb and I'm banking all my vacation to use for homecoming, so

There are plenty of places just-off the strip, downtown, and WAYYY off the strip that can accommodate us and whatever brand of plumber we may require this time.

I don't care where we stay either.. from a cost standpoint, I think off the strip is definitely cheaper.. and for those that do want to visit the strip whether for shopping or going out or whatever, you can always take a cab..

Having said that, I did check Harrahs (since I'm already there from Wed to Fri for SEMA).. it's $135 a night for a room that weekend.... Fremont Street would be around $90 (if we wanted to stay at old Las Vegas for example)

Just putting both out there.
