the FDA approved in June the custom lasik which is specific to your eye only.. the regular lasik is what they've been doing for years and all they take into account is your rx...

Any specific benefits? Or is it just more likely to yield 20/20 results?

did you have bad eye site before? I mean, my contacts are..hmm.. -2.50/-1.75 or something...
i still thought about the surgery..but people said that it was for people with really bad eye site.. true?

-2.5 is definately bad enough. If you can't see 20/40 (-1.25 if memory serves) it'd be worthwhile.
