Brant, I know it's a little bling but consdier this... it'll be the last watch you'll really ever need and it's something you could pass on to your kids... those were the considerations I made when I bought mine.
Here's the issue...I can't justify spending more than $4-500 on a watch, because I just don't care THAT much about what time it is. I don't deny that a Tag Heuer or a Rolex or an Omega would be NICE...but I'm not dropping more on a watch than I am on the entire suspension for my car...
Shame you can't justify the expense Barney, I think this one is perfect for style and understatement at the same time
Think about pushing the boat out and going for a TAG, I have had one for 10 years now and it has never had a problem (apart from the fact that I have had 4 new straps on it, but TAG paid for each and every one of those straps, no questions asked!!).
For YEARS I didn't wear a watch. This one was a present last Christmas and was the first watch I'd worn in more than 15 years.
Unfortunately, I got used to wearing a watch this past year and like the heft on my wrist. All the cheap analog watches just felt too cheesy and I need this watch to pull double duty as something casual as well as when I have business functions.
Don't need super bling, but I do need something kinda nice.
$4-500 is the absolute ceiling...I'm shooting for around $200 if I can find something I like at that price.
