I know there's less tension when you're just watching hockey with nothing riding on it

But I'll take the ups & downs anytime (I'm used to it, I have 2 kids).

True, I miss the hockey tension... but not the kids tension.

They're grown now (one's in 3rd yr college, the other graduating HS) & have been a lot of fun for quite a few years but when they were younger . . . .

BTW, both are major hockey fans so I figure I've done something right!

My son loves the Honda (& cars in general) and has been on a couple of runs with me.

My daughter, doesn't (not comfortable, too small, noisy etc).

1 out of 2 ain't bad!

My youngest just graduated from college. All three were raised with sports cars - I've always had at least one - so they don't get too excited about them. I can remember the wife holding one (kid that is), while the other (a little older) would sleep on the floor between her legs. Everyone wasn't as safety crazy back then. My son's a big hockey fan.

Can't loose with sports cars & hockey-2 of my favorite things (didn't mean to do a Sound of Music imitation)

Talk about safety, I remember sitting on the back "shelf" of an Austin Healy on a ride home from a swimming party. Don't remember how I held on. (or what I held on to)

I can top that one... I partially rolled a Spitfire one 4 of July evening on stones someone kicked out on a bend on a lake road. I had two passengers, one in the seat and one behind the seats (half-in, half-out). God was with us and only I got a several stitches in the head from hitting the windshield and a broken finger from hitting the dash in a frantic effort to downshift. The car was on a frame straightener for days, had a bent axle, etc. but by the end of the semissor it was off to Myrtle Beach for spring vacation. We better stick to hockey stories.

Those injuries sound like a hockey story!
