Just found this thread. I've been wondering where the hockey fans were this year. GO WINGS!

Lot's of good fans here!

Missed the Wings/Flames game last night. 4-2.... open net goal?

Habs/TB game wasn't that interesting to me. Not a bad game... just not a great game.

Officiating........ again.

Funny... they *did* wait 'til games 3 and 4 to pull out their "A" game.

Doesn't sound like a good *plan*you're right but I don't think it was a plan... I think it was fatigue.

I don't know how many of you were watching yesterday's Wing's game but it was damn scary. Steve Yzerman is out indefinitely after undergoing 4 1/2 hours of surgery for a scratched cornea and broken left eye socket. Yzerman is expected to make a full recovery, the Red Wings said. He experienced blurred vision in his eye, but that improved after the surgery. Clearly the Wings were not at the top of their game, which they lost, but this is guy is the heart and sole of the team. He gave them a pep talk before leaving for the hospital!
