He was quite a guy with a large life before, during, and after hockey. There was even a 'between' hockey. He quit the game to serve Canada overseas during WWII and then went back to play after 3 or 4 years out.

Yeah it's my newest Jersey. My Leafs jersey is probably still my fav but I LOVE that one. I wore it though the whole World Cup.

No G. The NHL Season begins tomorrow (Oct 19th) errrr well it was *supposed* to. The teams are locked out. i.e. Marty has some extra time to shop for Christmas.

No season in sight.
