Chelsea are still on target to win the League, the League Cup, the FA Cup and the Champion's League !!!!!

If they manage that, it would be the first time ever that a team has won all four !!!!

I don't watch hockey, though I did see a local game while I was in Whistler a couple of years ago ...

WOW dats GREAT! Dontcha watchin him play or do you get to?
I try to make all the games. In fact he has quite a rooting section; today there was 8 there. 2-2 tie today. Coach really chewed them out after the game; told them they suck, etc. and my grandson was quite upset. Eight year olds don't need a lot of that $hit. The coach needs to calm down IMO.

I don't think it's cash that's causing the current issues; the two sides are pennies on the dollar apart in terms of payroll cost. It's pure ego at this point, IMO - neither side wants to "cave" or "lose".
Isn't the bottom line, salary cap vs no salary cap?

Essentially. There's a bit more to it, but that seems to be the issue neither side is willing to budge on, and thus the reason this season and possibly the next are done for.
