Cool. You'll like it. You should also check out the DVD set from the CBC series "Hockey, a Peoples History" http://www.cbc.ca/hockeyhistory/

You really only need to spend a few minutes a week on fantasy, as long as you generally know what's going on in the NHL (hot/cold streaks, injuries, etc).
