The thread lives! Did I mention that my grandson's team won the league championship but got knocked out of first place in the final playoffs. Runnerup isn't so bad considering the other team had one young "superstar" that was just heads and shoulders above anyone else on the ice. Faster, better moves, better position, better offense, better defense, just unreal.............. is it little wonder the coach played this kid 95% of the game.
You shake you head some times and wonder how one kid can be SO much better at the Pee Wee age but we all know it happens!

The team I played on last year had 1 guy who was vastly superior to the rest of us... it was nice being on his line (easy assists to pad the stats
) but he spent way too much time on the ice.
Ended up dead last in SOG and couldn't get 2 goals today to jump the 4th place guy in that category.
