Arbitration hearings have been going on. Sounds like Scott Gomez may arbitrate himself out of New Jersey.

Full schedule is out, as well... NHL screws the pooch again. I thought one of the best features of last season was having every team start the same night. This year is back to the handful of opening night games, though all 3 are very good this year - Toronto/Ottawa, Dallas/Colorado, and Carolina/Buffalo (think Buffalo will be slightly motivated to win? ).
