guys! god...sorry but I have to get this off my chest...I got home an hour ago from stopping an attempted robbery by some dude with a knife on my way home from work.....I'm okay...th elady is okay...the robber will be okay (though he lost a tooth)....I am really wired right now...but everybody is safe...and I called home and talked to my other mom so I feel a little bit better.....

Last night my mom told me that a guy in DC got shot at a gas staion....there was a guy next to him pumping gas who finished filling his tank and left...noone...not even the attendant called the police or an ambulance....I hope they find the asshole and print his name because he should be ing ashamed of himself.....I just couldn't be that guy...thank god I am not going to get in trouble for hurting this dude (I ony hit him once and held him down in the snow until the cops showed up.) At any rate... I was mugged once in DC at gunpoint and I know what it's like to be scared and by yourself...just wanted to let people know there are some people out there that still care

Attempted muggings in DC are, shall we say, interesting. Happened to me once before...we parted ways peacefully, thank goodness. I'm not a fan of being shot...

anyway...after telling the authorities what happened I picke dup the womans grocieries and walked her home........strange 'n night....I don't thnk I'll be telling this to anybody at work....they already think I'm nuts

Nuts? Probably. But in a decidedly good way, Led! I'm willing to safely bet that less than 1% of your peers would have done the same thing in your situation.
