I'm glad I'm good at improvising, because I found a slightly smaller bolt that fit just inside the threads and then I just put a nut on the other side.

Mission accomplished! Now the stock belts are fully removed. 6pt for the passenger and a 2pt for the driver until I get the rest of the 5pt installed w/ the drivers seat next week.

I'm impatient...I installed the shoulder harnesses for the driver and took the car for a spin around the block.

It's a bit of a hassle getting into the harness, but once in you truly feel one with the car...and it's only going to get better w/ the new seat installed!

 

I'm guessing it'll be the instructor at the track this weekend...
