I'm annoyed I left my fitbit at home.

I'm on day...5? with the fitbit. Pretty sure that sucker isn't accurate, but whatever!

I'm noting that there a few things that mine picks up as steps (riding a bike, notably) but otherwise is pretty accurate.

I'm not sure. I'm a few months in, it hasn't resulted in any weight loss, so at times it feels like more of a novelty than anything. It does encourage you to move a bit more - I tend to take the stairs rather than the elevator, and purposely park farther away to get a few hundred bonus steps in . The answer would ultimately depend more on where you're starting from - a sedentary person might get more motivation and benefit than one who is already active/fit.

I'm curious. Pretty sure on the weekend my ~5km on a bicycle didn't register...although I was really hoping it would.

I'm

Work gave me a fitbit for filling out a survey, so...for me the price was worth it. I'm in the early days, so I may have more of an opinion further down the road. So far it's helped with my general awareness of my activity as opposed to encouraging me to do more, but I can see that shifting.
