I won't buy a MB.
I actually did consider TSX wagon but it's slow and its fwd. if they made a S3 or S4 wagon I would consider that. AWD is a must. I haven't had a suv since my pathfinder so sitting up high again will be a chance.

I'm pretty sure you'd be really disappointed with the S3, sizewise. The A3/S3 isn't much bigger than a Focus.

I'm noting that the S3 was smaller than I had expected, and I felt like I didn't really move much up from my Civic. I'm ok with that though since the backseat would be used for minimal transporting, and most likely, not with adults.
I'm going to check out the IS. See if I like it at all. I'm also going to look at the '15 STI. There is a certain Honda that I'm expecting to see get announced very soon but since it's not AWD, I'm not sure I want to go that route.

Thoughts on the Focus RS?

I'm actually curious about the Focus RS but it still falls under the same boat as the CTR (except it's AWD). Focus might be too small for me. I contemplated a used STI wagon but that trunk is smaller than the trunks on small passanger autos... it's kind of a joke. It does look nice though. If they made a new STI wagon again, it would probably be in my driveway already. I have an email to the local dealership about the '15 grey STI they have in their lot. The photos have grass showing so they must have had that car sitting in their lot since last October or November. The other thing I want to check out is Dan's Lexus dealership and see what they have in stock for IS250/350s

I'm pretty sure it's usually the moms' vehicles that cart the s around, especially when they're still in car seats...unless you're baller and have a seat for each car.
