Semi-Official I'm Thread LIX
I’m saying that Oct 31 2024 will be 17 years since my cat Ginetta passed away on my lap in my bed.
She couldn’t/didn’t have the strength to climb up onto my for the last couple of years but that night she did it. I was watching some TV and she came up.
Soon after, (she was laying on my chest) I felt and heard her breath get slower and slower and finally not to breathe at all.
I broke down like a baby that night.

I’m moved by the impact animal companions have. I’m saying that Oct 31 2024 will be 17 years since my cat Ginetta passed away on my lap in my bed.

My best friend "Hershey" died in front of our eyes of a heart attack at 3 am one evening, he was shrieking for his life, it was terrible to watch. We rescued him as a feral kitten on a vacation in North Caroline when he was sleeping under my truck, we brought him to Canada and we enjoyed the best days of our lives with him. He died too soon (10 years). I miss him like crazy. My spiritual medium says he is waiting for us on the other side with our other pets that passed, someday we will all meet again.
