Semi-Official "I'm" Thread - LV
I'm posting an update about Dad.
Well, Mom, my sister and I had a tough decision to make a couple days ago. Dad has steadily gone for the worse ( not eating, can't swallow etc) and is not responsive. According to his doctor, on a scale of 1-7e (7e being the worst stage of dementia) Dad is at 7c.
We decided to move him into the hospital hospice care to help him and us into the next stage. We know that he won't get any better and his quality of life will never get better, only worse. He will moved either Sunday or Monday.
It's tough knowing your parent is going to die but we accept it and all we want is him to be as pain free as possible.

That's an exhausting journey to be on - for everyone. A tough decision for sure, but sounds like very much the "right" one.
