I'm a fan of Uber in the context that it's a vastly superior user experience vs traditional cabs. I slightly prefer Lyft because it's a less shitty company, but the vehicle availability is often insufficient.

I'm not an Uber OR Lyft user only had ONE ride via Uber 3 years ago from my 's Wedding & Reception in LA to the Hotel DT

have used a limo a couple times to go to a ROCK SHOW & The Grammy's

I'm in agreement. I end up using uber almost 30-40 times a month

I'm noting that most of the time, Uber and Lyft have nearly identical availability/pricing. But early AM (for my 5am flights) and around special events (e.g. major sports events) Uber availability tends to be higher. They're also more aggressive with surge pricing and not as visible.
