I'm glad I was able to sell my car quickly; dealing with the requests for 20 pictures (which accurately reflected my very verbose description) followed by crickets, stupid questions, and guys wanting to trade shitty Civics even up was getting old quickly.

What????!!! wear and tear on a 15 year old car? That's ridiculous. I'd expect nothing but showroom condition from a private owner.

I actually have posted my car for sale and had an offer for $35k from a guy in Atlanta. When he asked me (as he does every year), if I'm still saying no to $35k, I sent him the link to the CR that sold for $50k. He laughed and said gtfo.

Anyway, what ends up happening is I think about selling it, I get in the car to think about it, go for a drive, and then remind myself that I can't sell the car and then that's that. At some point though, I do wonder if my feeling will change.

I'm wondering at what point people realize they could buy a vastly better car, possibly one with a warranty, before driving up the price even more?

I'm preemptively conceding that "vastly better" is hyperbole.

I'm of the opinion that the search tool on this site sucks.
