I'm staking this in the name of laziness.

on a side note, wtf, looking to replace the CRV with something slightly bigger and began looking at Highlander, Pilot, Pathfinder, Q5, etc. A Pilot is $50k?!?!?! That's insane...
I'm totally understanding of the SUV part. I went looking at small SUVs with the current +1 and was sorta staggered at how expensive the X3/X5 sized SUVs ended up being, even without a lot of options. The worst was we were looking at a Grand Cherokee, which was nice and I was thinking it would be a good compromise - not as nice as the germans, but not as expensive either... wrong. It was $80k. For a Jeep. We just laughed and went back to looking at Germans.

I'm pointing out that $50k for a 2009 CR would make me think about some other cars... depending on insanity level:

(New) Miata/Fiata (I don't actually fit in these, but for other people...)
Used C7 'vert
Used Boxster S (probably 2011-2012?)
Used F355 Spyder

Unless you're buying the CR as an investment, it makes no sense at that high of a price.
