Ohhhhh yes. I’m in the public health building so no one (except staff) are allowed in without being screened for risk factors (international travel, symptoms). We’ve set up an isolation room for anyone who screens positive.
Procedures are changing daily and so we (mental health clinicians, social workers) are waiting to hear what we’re going to be doing as we’re generally only checking in by phone with clients. I expect we’ll have to be trained to do contact tracing if there’s a ton of cases (we only have 9 so far in our health authority). We may also be asked to help at the hospital (screening at all the entrances, running supplies, etc). Gotta admit I’m not keen on being at the hospital but at the same time I’m a pretty healthy person and prepared to do what I can to help.
