I'm too old to begin the training / poor Star Wars reference.... I'm in the the too old to pay what I used to make and too experienced to be given a shot at something new category. So here I am. I have a job, not a career.

I think your grateful to have a job is a good thing, I tell my
's that a lot.I believe it or not had a decent paying job for many years and now even get a pension which is
I DO though think your NEVER too old if you TRUELY want to do something else maybe venture into it on the side & see how it goes
I'm kinda guilty though of not doing something I probably could have,, always had Interior Design sickness if you will but NEVER did GO FOR IT as in get the Degree & or License to actually get paid for the passion
I think we get stuck in a rut or just COMFY with what we have sometimes & avoid challenges
