I'm resting my back. I installed our new carpet tiles in our closet last night. Today I had to re-attach a wood banister/railing for my in-laws. They had some furniture delivered to their house and they took a sawzall to their wood railing so the furniture could fit into the basement. It was a real "hack-job" by the person who cut it all apart, let me tell you. I got it all put back together, it wasn't pretty but it is very safe and that is all that matters for my in-laws. They are so happy to have their railing back, and very sturdy for them to use. My back needs a rest though.

 

I’m suggesting that you send a bill to the furniture delivery company for your time and labor and material costs.

I’m also hoping you took photos of the damage they caused.

 

I'm about to stand up and go have some dinner.
