I'm saying I know how you feel Dave. I seemed happy to move to a new location and a new home. But the last day we owned our home I went back to do some final clean up stuff prior to closing, and I must say that I was very sad that morning, and it hit me. My wife cried when she last left the home a few days prior, and I chuckled a bit as she was tearing up, but damn it if I did not cry the last day I was at the home. Time heals all wounds though, memories are good but everything changes. I hope you enjoy your new home Dave.

I’ m noting that I snapped at a coworker today. It was an emotional day for me, I wanted to take one last tour around the house but I didn’t. I generally have some of the best with my coworkers, they call me old man, slow, grumpy, king of the eye roll, etc , but today I wasn’t feeling in the mood.
We hugged it out later - she just didn’t know how I was feeling.

 

I’m reminding Dave it’s a batting average, and that he can make more better days than not soon enough.
