I'm still confused about the money deposited into my account on Friday, even though I know the source. It's from my old job, but I've been off for months so it's not like I have vacation pay coming to me.

I’m also stating my employer’s payroll department contacted me that the end of December will result in an extra surprise pay period, so ask before cashing.
