I'm glad you got a chuckle over my rambling diatribe
I'm telling you there was no chuckle...I was laughing out loud! I listened to the message on my way from meeting my friend for coffee and going to tacos...

I'm assuming you mean Sparco-type driving shoes since my Piloti's are a bit more like real shoes.

As for a warm footwell, my old Jeep had a bare metal floor and no sound/heat deadening material anywhere, so I'm used to a VERY hot floor. It's more a space issue to me.

Maybe I'll just wrap my feet in heat resistant tape?!
i'm wondering how fun it would be to take the tape on and off everyday

I'm telling you the key is the thin gauzy tape that they use when they wrap ankles for athletes.

I'm wondering whether you mean old-school leather street driving gloves or track driving gloves like Sparco or something?

I'm telling you my present "driving gloves" are a pair of full-finger mountain biking gloves. I love 'em!

I'm suggesting that any good leather store should sell some. Personally, once my mountain bike gloves die I'm going to pony up for a pair of track driving gloves.
