I'm a fan of Nike gloves for driving.

I'm saying to the s and apologizing to Bent, because I can't be of any assistance on the footwell issue. Some parents send their sons to baseball camp, hoping they'll grow up and make the show. I'm telling you my parents bound my feet as a child hoping I'd earn an F1 ride someday.

I'm also happy to find out one of my autox buddies, who has raced an S2000 for the past 3 years, just bought and autox'd their new Elise, so I have more information than before.

Finally, I'm letting the cornerchix know that because of my parents' actions, the "small feet" rule does not apply to me

I'm thanking Martin for piping up...even though he added no information about the Caterham. Unfortunately, neither did the Car & Driver or Automobile articles.

I'm assuming you mean Sparco-type driving shoes since my Piloti's are a bit more like real shoes.

As for a warm footwell, my old Jeep had a bare metal floor and no sound/heat deadening material anywhere, so I'm used to a VERY hot floor. It's more a space issue to me.

Maybe I'll just wrap my feet in heat resistant tape?!
I'm thinking along the lines of Sparco shoes, yes. Something that wraps around your feet without adding considerable width.

I'm thinking Bent doesn't need fire-resistant Sparco shoes and could save some money with these:
