I was out in Hampton Bays Long Island -- Billman250 did the work on my car. He does excellent work.

I had just gotten on the highway.

I'm thanking Dave for the welcome.

I'm waiting for my boss to return from a pointless meeting so I can have my year end review. I'm not sure how it will go, but it would have gone much better from his perspective if we had met before I left for Seattle.
