I'm hoping I find a more rewarding job where the employees are not treated like crap all the time, and where management does not hold back pay just because they do not want to pay people money they earned.

I'm thinking self-employment may be in your immediate future if you really wish to achieve your goal.

 

I'm suggesting politics. You decide your own pay, and can do whatever the hell you want.

 

I'm saying I would have to find something I am good at that people will pay me for first.

I'm thinking Sir Crankypants has offered one viable option. The alternative is years in a Buddhist temple ending with lifting a really hot vat and branding your forearms in the process.
