I'm glad I had the chance to visit with friends and my dad yesterday, even if it was only briefly.

[QUOTE=brantshali,May 12 2010, 09:42 PM] I'm noting that mine is starting to show signs of it's age.

That's what I did....

Didn't get too crazy with the bike purchase... I hope to get a minimum of 5 years at least on this bike before I begin to even think about exploring future bicycle options... then, depending on how much time I spend on two wheels I'll either do component upgrades, or get a new bike.

My old bike lasted me almost 15 years before I finally parked it
I'm saying I've gotten 10 years and about 4,000 (hard) miles on my bike. I'm hoping my next frame will be a lifetime thing with component upgrades over time...

I'm acknowledging (much to the chagrin of many of my friends) that today would have been my 4th anniversary.

I'm wondering what Brant will get... my good friend is a competitive mountain bike rider... he competes in the Iceman competition in Michigan every year.. (and I'm thinking that one day I'd like to try it as well)..

in the meantime, I'm going to have him come out for a photo shoot (and jump over my car )
