I'm sometimes glad I work in social work. We might do fundraisers and stuff, but we're never pushed into it because we're already doing a lot.

Im more pissed I have to pay 2 damn dollars a day for "casual" dress. I dont see or talk to any customers so why exactly does it matter that I wear slacks to work. I guarantee my freshly ironed pants dont make me work any harder. Its one thing if you need to look nice for the customer but all I do is sit in a cubicle. Chances are I could wear no pants and people wouldnt notice (unless I stood up of course )

 

I'm suggesting you give it a shot and let us know how it goes

 

Im not in love with my job but I dont wanna lose it

 

I'm not a fan of having to dress up for office jobs that don't require contact with non-employees. It's never made any sense to me either.

 

I'm thinking of shooting a grapefruit...
