Semi-official "I'm" Thread XLVIII
I'm saying - I didn't do it knowingly. After talking to my co-workers, they said they've done the same thing, you think you can go forward, and then when you go forward there is a curb
I'll suggest that they paint the curb yellow, or put yellow poles to make it more visible to us out-of-towners.

I'm wondering what options you had? Given that going forward was illegal (though you didn't know it until it was too late), could you have feasibly backed up or turned around? Did you have any other recourse? You don't have to answer...just food for thought.
It was either back up in the middle of the road and turn to go with the one way traffic... Or do what I did, which wasn't what the cop wanted me to do
Here's a pic of where it all went down, I hope it makes sense

What do you think? Should I try to fight it?

I'm thinking I can see it... so you were turned toward traffic for all of about 2 feet? That's ridiculous... still, you might have trouble fighting it because the lane you were coming from is clearly marked as left turn only (the painted arrows) even if you can't really see the barrier ...

We'll see how it goes! Hopefully they'll reduce it
