I'm telling Mikey that his luck in that car isn't so good...he should give it to me...

 

I'm saying it's a good thing you only hit your head...minimized the possibility of anything vital being damaged...

Well, the ER doc really didn't say much. Mikey had to ask him for an ice pack for the huge lump on the back of his head! All he said was....you have two abrasions and a hematoma ....like tell me something I did NOT already know. The CT verified cobwebs in his brain!!! No broken skull thank goodness. Mikey had to ask the doc for some pain meds also...and then 30 mins later still nothing so I went to the nurse and was like....WTF? Needless to say the pain meds came pronto! Being he had a head injury the doc should have evaluated him mentally (I could say something crude/funny but I will not) but he did NOTHING. I have had three minor concussions so I gave him a mental/verbal test. He had a few things mixed up...but that is because he was exhausted, in shock and yes probably the head injury.

During this Adam was with us...being a little angel. Every person who was in the ER that had their curtain/door open he looked at and said hi. He was cheering everyone up!!!!

Right now, Mikey is asleep in bed. When he wakes up the real fun begins with taking the car to Enzo's for repair, getting a rental car, etc.

Oh, the woman who hit him got two citations. One for causing the accident (falling asleep at the wheel) and the other for reckless driving. I hope she gets her license revoked. The more ironic thing is that she literally works down the street on the opposite side of mikeys store. Go figure.

Brant!!!!! Mikey drove the car home (2 miles) and on the way home, as I was following him, his bumper fell off! So, we pulled over and it became the passenger and we had to seat-belt it in so it would not fall out. The back end is trashed, including his relatively new exhaust! Right now, the car isn't worth much. But her insurance will pay for it.

Oh, she didn't have her insurance info with her in the car either. She only knew the name of the company. I hope she really has insurance.

This is the 2nd car accident for this car....in exactly the same spot!!!
