I'm gonna show him some nice rides in the Bay Area then some real hills in San Francisco.

also, I'm a believer in carbon fiber but more of a believer in Titanium.

I'm suggesting the T-rex, Peugeot 20Cup, Aprilia Magnet, and MB F300 as alternatives.

when it comes to bikes, unlike cars, I'm buying American.

American made bikes are the best in the world, including that rig rode by a certain Texan in some race in France.

I'm wondering if you meant the new VW GX3?
I'm telling you that's not the one I was talking about, but the overall look was similar...except that the one I'm talking about was an offset single seat with the engine sitting where the passenger does in the VW, I believe...

I'm wondering if you mean what the bikes are labeled as or the brand they actually are? It's a well known fact that many of the riders don't use the brand of bikes that the labels on the bikes might imply.

Lance was rumored to be riding a rebadged Litespeed in a few stages in the previous Tour...

the only Litespeed I'm convice that Lance rode was the Blade timetrial bike in the '99 Tour (it's so obvious it's laughable that "Trek" was printed on the side). Ever since then, his bikes are Treks - Litespeeds bikes don't have that organic shapes b/c Ti can't be shaped that way.

I'm agreeing that the Blade was the most obvious, but I believe he also rode an Ultimate at one point. I can't recall which year/stage, though...
