Monica is up because she can't stop coughing and sniffling, plus her throat is really swollen so it hurts really bad She wants to take some Nyquil, but has to be at work in 4 1/2 hours, and Nyquil usually knocks her out for about 8++ hours.

Monica wants to call in, but she has been calling in a lot because of her stupid accident. It makes her mad, she used to have a TON of Vaca time before the accident, now it's hardly anything.
Monica will probably just go in to send a report to everybody and then go home
She hasn't made up her mind yet, but she likes Gary's idea.

John can be verbose when the mood strikes... it was a pretty boring morning though, and John was tired.
