Keith assumes John was not pleased with the RL?
John is noting the RL in question which was so close and a good deal has already been sold.

Mr. Anderson's long term quandry involves whether to own two cars that quite fulfill the bill (Element and S2000), or one car that would to a commendable job (MS3).

Keith has owned 2 cars on a few occasions. Its nice to walk into the garage and decide which car you want to drive that day. The insurance bills are less exciting though.
