Semi-Official this week sucked thread
The hard drive in the old Unix server (circa 2002) shit itself and died sometime Sunday. Between me and the app vendor's best support guy we finally got the app up and running around noon today.
I had forgotten how much I've forgotten about how to configure a clean install to run their software.
So how's your week sucked?

My week has been A-OK. Started out with 216 bottles of Miller Lite, down to 204, and I'm not raymo.

I moved 9 racks of equipment from one building to another. . .
25 *nix app servers
17 file servers
6 switches
. . . and I had to have everything powered back on, booted, and cabled. . . within 36 hours.
. . . and that was the fun part.
Now, I'm finding out my user base wants some custom-configurations, but no one remembers any of the switch settings (VLAN, CNA routing, etc.).
Oh, and now I'm testing a new interface that already has known issues. . .
"Uh, this doesn't work."
"Yeah, it sometimes do that."
"You don't say?!?!?! . . . assclowns"
