GLAD You busted out a dat place so quickly LG
Hey! I was home for a couple of hours before I came here.

Was talking to my nurse friend after I got home, but he wasn't really saying much. I was like, "Are you okay?" He just started laughing and saying he was just thoroughly amused listening to my "high talk." With typing I at least get the chance to re-read what I've typed before I post it.

I'm so glad I got outta there quickly too. When the nurse changed my bandage, she said it looked really great. Honestly I was impressed too. Not to get all gross, but it was totally clean - nothing was leaking out or anything. Just a nasty line and staples (why did I think I'd have stitches? )

Wow, did I ramble there?

Hmm I'm gonna have to re-read that when I start to come down again. Looking forward to home care today - I really need some help in terms of mobility because getting in and out of bed, and well, just trying to sleep causes some serious discomfort. I would also be happier of the pharmacy had delivered the Gravol with the other meds because the antibiotics are intense.

There's something about having metal holding my skin closed that seems...unnatural. I'm grateful to say that I 'just' had appendicitis and there was no bursting. Phew!

Oh WTF? They definitely didn't go that route, not with 6 or 7 staples in me. Knowing THAT doesn't make me a happy camper. Well nothing I can do about it. I just want this to be over with. I thought I was impatient with my hospital stay? I haven't even been home 24 hours and I'm tired of this recovery

Can be done for several reasons: Cost cutting, equipment availability, the west indian doctor came back from lunch a bit high, or the location was hard to define. I once had a friend who they let the appx actually burst in order to find it!!! I kid you not.

You are OK and that is all that counts.
