Sounds like a possibility. How long will it take to get the Cincinnati from Cleveland?
If you're going through Sarnia, Cleveland is a longer drive. It's as far east from Toledo as Fort Fun is west of Toledo, and you'll have to take I94 through Downtown Detoilet to pick up I75. Fort Fun is also closer to Cinti than Cleveland.

The flipside is you could probably get a +1 for a while out of Cleveland, assuming Les can't join you.

I think I need to take a look at a map!
I don't want to drag out the driving, since I'll be doing most of it on my own.

Either way is going to drag out. Lots of boring "scenery" between Sarnia and Cincinnati.

What are your plans for going home?

Sarnia is across the river from Port Huron, MI - about 50 miles north of Detroit.

Overall, it's pretty close, depending largely on where in Cleveland you meet. Also, going the Cleveland route entails taking 94 and 75 through Detroit, which will add considerable time and annoyance to the trip.

Regardless... if it means having a co-pilot by going through Cleveland, it's probably worth it.
