It's a shame to hear, but it seems that a French supporter was arrested after the game .....

"A French man has been arrested in Germany for an assault on a Portugese fan following the football match between France and Portugal.

Witnesses say the French man was about 5m away when the incident happened. The victim suffered a fractured skull, a cardiac arrest and has developed diabetes as a result of the incident. But he is expected to recover in a few minutes".
