English was lucky to win the match for own goal by a veteran Paraguay player. If England's playing from round 16 and after like this game, no way they can revenge the lost to Brasil in 2002. But a win is a win, get enough points to go to round of 16, then regroup and play better.

Germany seems to play much better first match than all the other teams so far. I cannot wait to see how Spain, Argentina and Brasil perform on the field.

England seemed to lose it during the second half. England's only real test in their group is going to be against Sweden.

No, Englands test will be being able to play a full game in the afternoon heat, it's always our weakness in these kind of championships.
