So I had a chance to shift through the gears with the car off in a Mitsu Evo8 today. Shifting from 1 to 2 was easy!! Then I tried going to 3rd and spent half my time figuring out how to get there. Clutch in, push the stick up.. why doesn't it go into 3rd?!?!?!? Let's try it again!!! Clutch in, why doesn't it go into third!?!?!? So then I think I figured it out by pressing down on the clutch going to neutral for a little, then going a little sideways and push up. Then it was ok... but harder than I thought. still had some trouble going from 2nd-3rd and then 4th to 5th. usually went back to 1 and 3, respectively. hahaha i still have some work to do any tips??? am i doing something wrong the recaros in the Evo8 are surprisingly comfortable and the rear seat is roomy!! I think this may be the first car i ever buy

 

what i thought was the funniest part of the car was the options/price paper. on the options list it said:
low profile GT wing
i almost cried..
