I know it can happen ANYWHERE like at mickeyD's or your place of buisness etc. etc. butt when it happens at a School it really tugs at a MOM

 

I knew a guy few years back who shot his gf in the face and then shot himself at UMCP. Seemed like a perfectly normal, nice guy. She survived, but is permanently disfigured.

It's pathetic how cowardly these guys are. If you think you suck and you are depressed, just kill yourself and be done with it...

ThiS is a TUFF subject w/Mom as I said I KNOW IT CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE but when you have children in school as I still do its just REALLY scary

I one day drove by the HS and as I glanced down the short lil road that leads back to it I see a ton of POLICE CARS out front talk about not bein able to breath worrying if your child is otay

Luckily it was just a false alarm due to some wackjob kid placing some questionable note up in the hallway

it just gives me gooosbumbles and makes me nervous when one occurs

 

Totally understanable, but don't let the fear drive you too much though - doing so gives these cowards way too much credit.

What I can't imagine is being a civilian in Iraq, where far more die every single day. We're blessed to be in such a safe nation.

 

i had a few friends that went to virginia tech, i'm glad they graduated and got the hell out but still that friggin blows that they didn't catch him after the first incident

 

So sad...and scary.
