I lived in San Jose all my life except the last 11 years when we moved to WA, I miss the Sunshine and Warm weather!!!! Have lots of family there so I drive down every summer!!! Oh the Winchester Mystery House is kind of a Joke and its been there Forever, It allways cracks me up when your drivin like way down south near LA or almost and you see a sign advertising it! Now Hearst Castle is pretty nice but your right a Whole nother thing. I think my favorite place is Santa Cruz!!!!!

 

I'm heading to Cruz for the a 4 day weekend in Jan. Nice resort (apparently).

Zoe, like mom, I felt that the Winchester mansion was expensive and a total waste of time.

Hearst Castle, down in San Simeon, is definitely worth the tour!! It is indeed a whole other thing!

SF is great. So much to do there. I miss it.

Super, Brant! I wish I could do that. I'm hoping to take some time off next year. This year's been hellacious!

 

I'm actually technically working in January, but my boss doesn't have any business planned, so I'm basically only working if I'm called and am free to vacation whenever I want in January.

I'm OFFICIALLY on vacation from Thursday through January 4th, though...
