Thank you for the kind thoughts. We rescued Butterscotch 18 years ago, she passed away last month. It is just like losing a family member and my wife has taken it very hard.

We lost Hershey in 2020, he was 11 years old, and suffered from a heart ailment. He had a great life right up to the end.

We are now left with Rocky who is our 8 month old kitten, we love her very much and she is a lot of fun like most kittens are.

There were more details to the rescue story that make it even more memorable, but it was such a great chance of fate how he became part of our family. He was such a character we loved him so much.

Whenever I had a car part to sell he would insert himself in the picture to be the center of attention.

I love hearing how people came to have their pets.

There is nothing like the pain of losing a pet.

Here are my two fur balls. Got the cat from a local shelter after I was put off work with the second last concussion. For so many reasons he was meant to come to me. Beast in the background came along just over 3 years ago as a puppy. He’s a goofball for sure.

A couple of times I was sick and blacked out (once I fell into a metal bathtub, another time fell down the stairs), car accident when the airbag went off, hit my head on the gym stage doing somersaults off it (public school), tripped when running in the public school gym and smashed my chin on the floor…The last two were really bad. Cupboard full of dishes came off the wall and landed on my head (5 stitches, 10 months off work). Then almost 2 years ago I was playing in the backyard with the puppers (the photo gives you an idea of his size) who gave me a concussion. He had the zoomies and I noticed my shoe was undone so I bent down to tie it. He came at me from behind and connected with the base of my skull. Completely unintentional but it put me off work for months.
