My best friend ever (people or pets) was "Hershey" . We found him sleeping under our truck when we arrived at a hotel on a family road trip, after visiting the Hershey Chocolate factory attraction in PA. He was just a small stray kitten living amongst a bunch of feral adult cats. We smuggled him back to Canada on that trip. There were more details to the rescue story that make it even more memorable, but it was such a great chance of fate how he became part of our family. He was such a character we loved him so much.
Whenever I had a car part to sell he would insert himself in the picture to be the center of attention.
