:spam:ing Microsoft !!!
No, but the the server has a user with the client's L/P. You made me think of one thing to verify, however the fundamental problem (I believe) is that the server isn't showing itself to the network correctly. It's all f'ed up.
Hmmm......can you ping it? Is your basic network functionality working? Once you've verified that, then you start looking into why you can't establish a full session with the PC.
I can access the internet through the server, so the connections are at least working. I disabled my firewall for a while just to make sure it wasn't blocking it out, as well.
Just can't establish a full workgroup session from either computer... :sighs:

I take it your are doing it by going into "My network places".
What about when you do a :
Start button, then run, and then "computer name""shared resource"
You don't have to have computers in a workgroup for them to talk. If name resolution isn't working either, try the IP address of the PC instead of the name.
Also, make sure that the personal firewall built into XP is turned off for your network connections.

Billy, Luke,
Funny that you guys are disussing this subject. I haven't confirmed this yet, but I think the problem might actually be the "Computer Description" that you gave your system(s), Billy.
Right click on My Computer->Properties, then click the "Computer Name" tab, and edit the "Computer description" field to something very simple. You might see the thing suddenly appear, Billy. Try it.
I think if you have parentheses or maybe dashes (or maybe if the field is too long), your computer won't show up in the explorer window when you open up your network...
