Another technology that although Apple didnt pioneer they certainly made it affordable/do-able for the masses, and STILL have the best integrated solution for it.

No dongle sticking out of my laptop!!! Antenna is built in around the frame of the screen.

uh, my laptop is four years old, I don't want to buy a new machine everytime a new technology comes out

Actually...to be honest...the best reception I've ever seen was with a Cisco Wi-Fi card and they don't do internal ones at all. Better than the Dell brand, Actiontec (HP and IBM), Compaq, 3COM, and Linksys. Those are the only brands I have used.
