I just bought Angels and Demons and am going to get Deception Point. He's a great author, I'm quite impressed. Now if only I could get Mitch to read Da Vinci's Code....
Sorry...our room sounds pretty full!!

I read DV Code first and LOVED it. I was trying to figure out all the puzzles and got many or most which was a hoot. Then I read Deception Point. Found it much more predictable and realized he's a formula writer with a real talent for researching oddball things. Have A's&D's but don't feel like reading another A(x+y^2)/(5T+c) type book.
And OH YEAH the INS sucks.

Hey Lesley
I read the DV Code, thought it was excellent. I also read Deception Point, which as JD says, was somewhat disappointing. I am about 30 pages from the end of Digital Fortress now as well, and I would say that it seems to me that Deception Point and Digital Fortress seem as if they were written for the movies more than for the book.
Still an entertaining writer, but not quite as good as he first appears, IMHO.
Things are pretty much the same as ever here. Hope things are going well for you

I have the choice of taking the bus, which costs me US$1 and takes about 15 minutes, or driving in, which would cost me US$20 to park and probably 25 minutes to get there due to the walk from the car park to the office ... seems like a no brainer to me ...
