I keep watching the updates on the news and seriously can't comprehend it. It's just too huge to truly wrap my head around. IIRC the woman from the forestry service (?) interviewed on CBC yesterday said they don't think they'll be able to contain the fire for another week.

Thinking of you guys as always and hoping it's at least contained soon.

if ti isnt extimated until 9/15 that is quite a lot more burning that is going to happen. hopefully some of the burning that they are doing in advance and on purpose, the controlled burns, will help limit the spread.
